[News] Event - St-Potrick's Day (2009-03-18)
As the bamboo milk pours in bars across Amakna, rumors spread about Saint Potrick, the mystical man who tried to banish all wriggling spiders from the continent last year.
Will he try again this year? Will the continent finally be free of every creepy, crawly arachnee?
No one seems to have heard from him in a long time, could it have something to do with his assistants, the gold-hungry Leprechauns? Some reports say that they are up to their old tricks again, but from the way they're acting, it's not clear if they're working on behalf of Saint Potrick or if they're out to stir up trouble for their own amusement. Adventurers, help Oisín, the great hero of the Oirish Fianna, sort out these little green monsters, but beware of their curse!
Pet peeves, what bugs you the most (2009-03-16)
the rules are simple. post what bugs you the most in Dofus. it can be anything regarding it at all even fi it doesnt concern the actualy gameplay itself.
MY biggest pet peeves are when someone randomly offers to exchange with you, which when you proceed to open, they flood the box with farmer set items or piwi gear or proffession weapons and try to get you to buy them. Or when they open the trade window and ask you if you have a goball headgear (even if youre lvl 79 and wearing a terrdala hat =P) and ask if that if you do have a spare, can they have it for free?
another pet peeve is when you i post in the trade channel and end my item links with "PM ME OFFERS" and then before i know my pm window turns into this:
"i trade you 3kk for your pink dragoone"
"how much?"
"do you have a prespic cloak?"

Noob questions :) (2009-03-04)
First off Im a new player so pleeeease forgive the noobishness of these questions. smile.gif I played wow for a few years but this game is now my new "home". Im really enjoying my Osa(level 30) And Sadida(level 15) and the friendly guild that took me in, but I have a few random questions:
Is it possible to play two of your characters at once? I have seen a couple topics where people talk about raising an alt that compliments their main - are they botting(im pretty sure botting isnt allowed)? If you can play two of your characters at once legitimately, how is this done? How can I have more than 5 characters, do I have to set up another account, and can I use the same email if so?
For pvp, what does wings up and wings down mean? What are pvp zones and how can I recognize them(so i dont wander into them smile.gif) If I align with one faction, does that mean the other faction can attack me at any time, even when im in merchant mode? Whats the perk of one person killing another in pvp?
Is there an easy pet for a non fisherman newbie to raise - I only play a couple hours in the evening and my bow meow wasnt too happy about that :-/

Lack of Strength Elementary Spells? (2009-03-02)
As a person with characters that are primarily Strength, Im thoroughly frustrated by the fact that while Intelligence builds have Cawwot, Striking and Leek Pie, and Agility builds have Moon Hammer, Strength builds are left with nothing. Strength characters are one of, if not the most popular characters in Dofus, and I do not see a reason that they should not have at least one elementary spell. Chance builds are also lacking in elementary spells, but as their not nearly as popular as Intelligence, Agility and Strength, the need for an elementary chance spell is not quite as neccessary.
