Recovering Energy in Inns? (2008-11-27)
I have a character on the first Island (the training island). For some reason when I finished the "Temporary Death" quest, it didn't start the "Recovery" quest, so I am now sitting at 1,000 Energy. Which would be ok, if it weren't for the fact that I've logged off in the Inn a number of times, and every morning I check and I haven't gained any energy back. Is there something I'm missing?
It took me a while to figure it out, it's fairly simple. Simply have you character inside an inn (the large building in the middle of incarnam, in your case) when you log out or switch characters, and you character will gaio energy over time. Having a character rest in an inn will give you about 1000-1500 energy for every 24 hours he/she is resting in an inn and not being played on. There's also a second part to that quest in which you bring Bret Ernal (the guy who killed you) 2 ginger ales. Buy them for 2 kamas each at the inn at incarnam and he will fully restore your energy and give you an energy-restoring potion, too.

So i figured this game is instanced? like age of conan. how can i swap between the instances of the same zone? i.e so me and my friend can see eachother.

I assume you are in Incarnum? Only this area has layers, as far as I know.
To see your friend, group him. If he is on your friends list, just click on his name and use "Invite into my group". Alternatively, you can also type :

For those who kill low levels in a fight. (2008-11-21)
What are earth will you accomplish? You will only prove my point that you are probably a sad person who kill otherse because either you are sad that you have to kill others to feel good about himself or either dumb enough to think that you will get more xp. Ps.In case you need to be told twice this is only for the ones who kill low levels. There are other worse things but I'm not gonna say it.
