Combat is an important part of Wakfu,which is always turn based.You will become the greatest warrior if you master some simple rules of combat.
Before a combat,you need to equip yourself well,the stronger you become,the more impressive equipment you can wear.In order to start a fight with a monster or a player,you must right click on the monster or the player and then select a sword icon or the attack option.A combat sphere will form around the participants.If you want to join a fight which has already been started,you must right click on the player in that fight within 30 seconds of the beginning of combat.After starting or joining a combat and before the turn based battle begins,you can position yourself on different squares within the combat sphere.You must keep your enemies in the front,and don’t forget to use the arrows to point yourself in a certain direction.
Turns are indicated by the turn indicator in the right part of the screen during the fight.A player’s turn usually lasts 30 seconds. Each player can use 3 movement points and 6 action points before your turn ends.Turns can be unintendedly ended if you get dodge locked,which can happen if someone tries to move away from an enemy and fails at it.In order to cast a spell,you must select it from the spell bar and click on a target.Spells require a certain number of action points or wakfu points,and have a defined range and area of effect.
Besides that,you can choose to fight in a group,after you have up to six players in your team.You will win a combat after all of the enemies on the field have their health points reduced to zero.When you loses all of your health points,you will lose the combat and die,then rise to the heavens,leaving behind a tombstone on the ground.During a fight,each participant can get a speed bonus or positioning bonus.
Miner in Wakfu (2012-04-26)
Miner is a gathering profession based on gathering gems,minerals and ores from rocks under ground or out in the fresh air,all miners can collect metals and precious stones from every deposit in Wakfu.
Players can learn mining from clan members of all nations with which you are allied.The following clan members can teach the miner profession:Jaffin in Holey Forest,Baal Stroud in Kara,Jonk Wincey in Brakmar Village,and Billon Stroud in Terrana Dune.The clan member can also give back mining tool for free in case you dropped it.Digger Pick is the common tool you can use for mining.Golddigger's Axe is the upgraded mining tool which you can obtain via challenges.Mining with it will give you 3% extra mined ore and it is visually different from the Digger's Pick while mining.It usually takes you 10 seconds to mine 1 node.
Fire of Love,used to illuminate the darkest areas of the mine,as well as lighting torches,can be obtained by defeating Sho Bubu.But it's dangerous to use it on the Amethyst or Lead floors of mines.Lanturn,a basic item and a consumable version of Fire of Love,can only be used to illuminate.Polisher is a workshop that can be used to craft items and polish stones.The Riledge is your mining bag which has 10 slot to hold your ore from level 0 to level 60 as well as your fire of love,lanturns,and Buckets of water for polishing.Besides,there are several official mines in each nation,which can be found for mining.
Fisherman in Wakfu (2012-04-19)
The Fishermen is a gathering profession in Wakfu,which can be found on the banks of the sea,lakes and rivers,armed with fishing rods, trying to catch fish or underwater treasures.
Players can learn fishing from the following clan members,including Shika Ingalsse in the singing fields of amakna island,Crocoburio in the cania swamps of bonta island,Krustiblak in the gnashville of brakmar,or Jonk Ussack in the sufokia village of sufokia island.You can learn fisherman from the clan member whom are allied with yours in all nations.The clan member can also give back fishing tools in case you dropped them.
In order to fish,all fishermen need fishing rods,which are given for free while learning fishing.Hook table is a fishing workshop used by fisherman to craft hooks.Besides,fisherman need to use fishing banks in order to catch fish.Once you are at a fishing bank,you can carry out two actions:fish or fish with a hook.You can try to attract a special fish while using a hook.After you've fished on a fishing bank,you have to wait for this area to restock itself after a certain amount of time,which depends on the climate and the type of water.
When you've filled your baskets with fish,you can pay a visit to the artisan chefs,who need the fish for the recipes.or you can sell to others in game.
Three Pistes Cave in Wakfu (2012-04-17)
The Three Pistes Cave is a low level amakna dungeon which opens for level 15 players in Wakfu.You must defeat the mobs in one room to progress to the next sections.
In order to enter the dungeon,you need obtain an item of key,known as Key to the Three Pistes' cellar,which is dropped by level 3 Bow Meow.The Three Pistes Cave is located in each nation's village,including Amakna(1,2),Bonta(0,-1),Brakmar(-1,-1) and Sufokia(-1, -1).
There are 3 rooms in the Three Pistes Cave.Once you enter the dungeon,we will start with the room 1.Three mobs,Iop Brewer(level 15),Sacrier Brewer (level 15)and Sram Brewer (level 15) will spawn soon in it.After you defeat the three mobs,you can enter room 2.There are four mobs in room 2,Xelor Brewer(level 15),Feca Brewer(level 15),Enutrof Brewer(level 15)and Ecaflip Brewer(level15). Once you complete room 2,you can enter room3.There are up to 5 mobs in it,including Cra Brewer(level 15),Eniripsa Brewer(level 15),Sadida Brewer(level 15),Master Thirsten Hunga(level 20) and Osamodas Brewer(level 15).
The Three Pistes Cave in each nation has a different drink inside the barrel along with the chest:the Ter Root Beer in Brakmar,Poopsi in Amakna,Dr. Pooper in Bonta and Pulpsi Max in Sufokia.Each of the drinks have the same cosmetic effect only with different names.
Farmer in Wakfu (2012-04-01)
Farmer is a gathering profession in Wakfu,in which players can gain more and more different types of crops as your level improves.
Players can learn farming from any clan member as long as your nation is allied with the nation the clan member is in,including Master Pigmy in North East of Astrub,Master Barney in South West of Astrub,Farle Ingalsse in Farle's Fields of Amakna,Justice Knight in Cania Plains of Bonta,Ely Sianfields in Pabong Fields of Brakmar,Van Kooper in Hanging Gardens of Sufokia.
Scythes are required tools when you harvest crops,which are given by the associated Clan Members when you learn farming.There are the other two scythes in game,including novice scythe,rikro scythe.Novice scythe is also known as broocefore scythe,which can be obtained in the challenge,Singing in the Rain,in the Gobballfield Country area of Amakna.When the crops become maturity,you can collect its seeds or fruits.After that,you can plant the seeds from the crops to get more crops.
Farmers can use grindstones to grind flours and other ingredients.Besides,you can earn many kamas by selling flours and other ingredients to others in game.
